Our pitching has been solid all year. When we got to the end of the season everyone was determined they would get it done. It's been a coach's dream to have a group like this." THE TIDE TIMES RECEIVES RECOGNITION FROM ANOTHER MEMBER OF THE MEDIA

ARTICLE BY RACHEL BARIBEAU

I Just met two young guys who are REALLY getting after their dreams by starting a website (www.thetidetimes.blogspot.com ). They approached me and asked me what I was doing career wise, I told them and they subsequently asked to do a story on me as they were profiling women in the Sports business.

I saw a hunger in their eyes that was extremely palpable, I instantly related to them. They asked to take a picture with me for the site and I agreed. Afterwards they thanked me for being so nice. Which immediately made me wonder how others had treated these guys that are just trying to achieve their dreams. I shook their hands and thanked them and told them definitively NOT TO QUIT. I was reminded of ALL the times that people have gone out of their way to help me and how they continue to do so...everyday!

I walked away with a HUGE smile on my face, thank GOD for the opportunity to influence another human being's life. That is, after all, what we are here for!! I wanted to share this special story in hopes that you can find someone/anyone to encourage. Whether it be a hug or a smile or just holding a door for someone, we can all do our part. I pray that GOD finds a special way to use you today!
